Oceanic Aquarium Reveal The Ultimate Glass Series ™ With Starphire

Oceanic Systems has just released its new aquarium in a row, the last series Aquarius ™ Starphire with glass front. Increase the professionalism and elegance of a series of beveled glass aquariums Oceanic Precision polished face and edges. Posted on 22nd to 24th Feb-07 in World Pet Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

So what is Starphire glass, and what makes it so special? Starphire ™ is a registered trademark of PPG Industries. It is a world-class optically clear glass that is not the iron content of ordinary glass. The Reef Aquarium last for many years have had two choices when it comes to the materials, a standard glass aquarium, which is a greenish, or Plexiglas, which is optically very clear, but Plexiglas scratches easier than glass. Starphire™ glass, you have the best of both worlds, the durability of glass that is optically clear. The finest way to tell the differences between the transparency glass and glass Starphire, is to go throughout the length of 72 inch Starphire ™ glass and can see the objects on the opposite side. If you do the same thing with a piece of regular glass is dark colors! Of the corals and the fish seem to come alive in a glass aquarium Starphire ™.

Starphire ™ glass has been around for a while, used in aquariums custom high-end and very expensive. Oceanic Starphire ™ user in the anterior part of the series and Aquariums Ultimate Tech news surprisingly affordable. I would say that early deliveries are limited. Loveland Pet, a leading wholesaler of PET, held an exhibition for retailers in Cincinnati Aquarium 4 to March 5, 2007. 200 of the largest brokers were invited to the first night and second night was the open house. Few of the best retailers got a catalog with pictures of the aquariums. One of these distributors was Brothers Pets Kansas City, Missouri. As no guarantee Oceanic aquariums are not supplied by wholesalers to licensed retailers, it would be worth the drive if you live within 100 miles from a dealer that carries the new aquariums.

The cleaning procedure of Goldfish Aquarium

It is not generally recommended to cleanup an aquarium full of goldfish, but sometimes serious spring cleaning is done to do proper care of your goldfish. First of all you need to turn off any electrical power supply installed to avoid any electrical shock. And obviously during the cleaning process you have to arrange some temporary home for your beloved goldfish, to avoid any stress encounter to them in this process. Use a little amount of the same water before cleaning the tank and put it in the temporary home of your lovely goldfish. Then use a plastic container and collect the goldfish. In order to avoid injuries to your beloved goldfish, it is recommended that you must use some net for this purpose, as it is safer to them while shifting to the temporary home.
Removing Accessories Installed for Goldfish:
Now you have to remove all the accessories installed in the aquarium for the goldfish, and wash them out with clean water properly. After that, you have to fill the sink with warm water to soak all the ornaments you have installed in your goldfish tank, and keep them soak until you finish the tank cleaning process. Keep this in your mind that you have to avoid the use of any cleaning product like soap or detergent while cleaning the ornaments, as it may lead your gold fish to some risk.
If your goldfish thank has some aqua plants, you have to dig them out to the safer place i.e. the temporary home is the best place to keep them all, as it will be more convenient to you while cleaning the tank.

Cleaning of the Glass Walls:
For this purpose you can use an algae scrubber available in market, use the algae scrubber to clean the walls & corners of the glass wall of your tank. You may need a little amount of elbow grease to remove the algae, you can also use some razor blade (Remember you have to use plastic blades if you have acrylic tanks) to get rid of additional algae away. Some amount of algae is beneficial, allowing a little amount intact will actually add to the health of the species.

Cleaning of the Gravel:
After uninstalling all the accessories & ornaments, its gravel bottom left, now you have to use some gravel cleaner to pull out all the mess, dirt, waste & the old water of the tank to some other container. It is suggested to go slowly while using gravel cleaner and give up to 2 minutes for an inch approximately, to make sure the quality cleaning. In case you don’t have gravel cleaner, use your hands to remove any dirt remaining.

Cleaning of Tank’s Filter:
Unplug the filters installed in you tank, and put them in to the use water you kept in a container and shake them out twice or trice in that water,  as the filter have some useful bacteria for all you need is few mild shakes & some squeezes to accomplish filter cleaning. As filters are available in many different types and materials, you have to use them for a couple of weeks before replacing so that the amount of useful bacteria reaches its recommended level.

Aquarium water:
Now you can complete the process of changing of the aquarium water in your goldfish tank with tap water and also use some de-chlorinator to remove any chlorine in tank. Now you have to be very keen to ensure the water temperature has returned to the recommended tank temperature. Now you can put back all of your decorative accessories and ornaments your goldfish tank, after that you can then carefully place your goldfish back into the tank. Now your tank cleaning has been done perfectly. Hurray!
